KCR ‘faked’ hunger strike for separate Telangana says NIMS report: TPCC

Hyderabad: Politicians, as well as activists going on hunger strikes, to get demands fulfilled, is how work gets done in India or any other nation, as we may all know how this strategy usually works.

If reports are true, then Telangana CM KCR faked hunger strike stated TPCC president Uttam Kumar Reddy, TOI reported.

According to him, NIMS hospital reports state that TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao’s was given IV fluids with multivitamins and other medicines through injections when he called for Telangana movement.

“KCR in the Nizamabad public meeting claimed that he had risked his life for the sake of Telangana by undertaking a fast during the statehood movement.

But Nims, where he was admitted, says he was given IV fluids along with other medicines,” he said while reading out the extract from Nims report.

He was speaking at the Greater Hyderabad Congress Committees’ executive meeting on Friday where he said KCR had only grown his beard in Nims in the name of fasting and cheated people.

Ridiculing objections raised by KCR on Congress’s alliance with TDP he said that Telangana’s development was halted after TRS came to power.

Why is MIM in alliance with TRS when the same party had opposed the formation of separate Telangana state till 2014, Uttam asked.
