Hyderabad: KCR government has decided to fill in 2,786 vacant seats under Group-IV, VRO and ASO categories for which the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) shall issue the notification on the eve of Telangana State formation this Saturday.
Among the 2786 vacant posts, as many as 1,521 posts are available in Group IV under various departments including Revenue, Panchayat Raj, Commercial Tax, Forest, Home, I&CAD, Disaster Response and Fire Services and Medical & Health Department, Telangana Today reported.
Apart from 1,521 posts, 700 vacancies of Village Revenue Officers are available under Revenue Department whereas 474 posts are available under Mandal Planning and Statistical Office/Assistant Statistical Officer posts in Directorate of Economics and Statistics Subordinate Services department with 19 vacancies available under Senior Stenographers, of which 13 are collectively available in Revenue while 6 vacancies are available under the Home Department.
Meanwhile, in TSRTC, 72 vacancies including Junior Assistant (Personnel) and Junior Assistant (Finance) are also available.
In a press release on Friday, the PSC confirmed the notifications will be released on the State Formation Day that is on Saturday.
The Commission also added as many as 32,733 vacancies have been notified through 83 notifications of which 11,629 posts have been completed while another 20,798 vacancies are still under process.
