Giving slogan of ‘KCR Ko Hatao…Telangana Ko Bachao’, Congress senior leader S Jaipal Reddy has alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was a thankless fellow and atrociously ruling the state.
Participating in AICC Chief Sonia Gandhi’s birthday celebrations here at Gandhi Bhavan here on Saturday, Jaipal Reddy said that Sonia Gandhi fulfilled the 60 years dream of Telangana people. Terming Sonia Gandhi as synonym to ‘sacrifice’, Jaipal Reddy described December 9, which was Sonia’s birthday date, was a holy day for Telangana. He also described A Revanth Reddy’s entry into Congress party as part of reunion of politics in Telangana and called upon political parties to unite to dethrone KCR. He expressed hope that the Congress party will win in not only Telangana but also across the nation.
Former Home Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy has said that Sonia Gandhi accorded Telangana for the sake of 4crore people but Telangana remained as a detainee in the hands of four members of KCR family. She said that they will give a birth day gift to Sonia Gandhi by dethroning KCR in the state.
Rangareddy DCC president Kyama Mallesh said that Revanth Reddy would stand like Laxmana to TPCC Chief Uttam Kumar Reddy. Both leaders Uttam and Revanth would see the end of Ravanasura (KCR) rule.
Former MLA Vem Narender Reddy has said that he will work as a disciplined party activist under the leadership of Congress party.
Another former MLA Seethakka described Sonia Gandhi as the mother of Telangana people who fulfilled the aspirations of them. Sonia accorded Telangana though she new that the Congress party would face loss. “We will express our gratitude to Sonia Gandhi by ensuring Congress party’s victory in 2019 elections”, he said. (NSS)
