KCR may attend Kumara’s CM oath

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is to attend oath taking by Kumara Swamy as Karnataka Chief Minister at Kanthirava Stadium on Wednesday. It is being touted that KCR, who called on Kumara Swamy and former Prime Minister Deve Gowda a few days before the Karnataka election in Bengaluru, is willing to attend the oath taking program scheduled to be held on May 23. According to informed sources the Chief Minister of Telangana may take a special flight from Hyderabad to reach Bengaluru on Wednesday morning. KCR has already extended support to the JD(S) of Kumara Swamy and asked Telugus to vote for it. Kumara Swamy has already extended an invitation to the chief minister who is readily agreed to attend the program.

It is likely that KCR and his AP counterpart N Chandrababu Naidu, Uttar Pradesh former chief minister Akhilesh Yadav, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Benerjee, former UP CM Mayavati are to attend the swearing in at Bengaluru. Kumara Swamy who is in Delhi is to finalize on allocation of ministerial berths and allocation of portfolios to the Congress, key ally of the JD(S) to form the government during a meeting with AICC Chief Rahul Gandhi and former chief Sonia Gandhi on Monday evening.
