KCR meets Governor for three hours

Hyderabad: CM of Telangana State, Mr. KCR called on Governor of Telangana and A.P., Mr. E.S.L. Narasimhan at Raj Bhavan on Saturday, 23rd September. The meeting lasted for three hours.

Authentic sources indicated that CM talked to the Governor on various issues pertaining to the State. CM intends to convene assembly sessions next month for 10 days. It would be possible only after 10th October.

It may be mentioned that the budget session of Telangana Assembly was convened in March and it is mandatory to commission assembly session before 30th October since it would be completing 6 months.

During the meeting with the Governor, CM apprised him of the details of ongoing land survey in the State. He informed him that during the first week of the survey, 85% of the land records admeasuring 9.5 lakh acre have been set right. He also told the Governor about the formation of Kisan Samithis and the powers to be assigned to them.

Mr. KCR is understood to have informed the Governor about the bills to be presented in the next assembly session. He also told about the proposed ordinance to be issued to curb the marriages of minor Muslim girls with Arab nationals.
