KCR nodded for change of Hyderabad’s Name: TPCC

Hyderabad: The Congress has alleged that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao had agreed to change the name of Hyderabad and other cities named after Muslims.

TPCC Minorities Department Chairman Shaik Abdullah Sohail today alleged that KCR received a secret communication from BJP president Amit Shah asking him to change names of some of the cities/districts in Telangana, including Hyderabad. KCR agreed to do so, he alleged.

Sohail alleged that KCR wants to join the BJP drive of changing names of cities and districts before 2019 Lok Sabha elections. Sohail further alleged that KCR would join the BJP-front after Assembly elections.
