KCR orders development works in Kodangal Constituency

Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao today directed the officials concerned to take up developmental works in Kodangal Assembly constituency, including Kosgi town and other villages. He asked the officials to give immediate sanction for the works.

A delegation, led by former MLA G Gurunath Reddy, who is the in-charge of TRS in Kodangal Assembly constituency met the Chief Minister at Pragathi Bhavan here. Gurunath Reddy urged the Chief Minister to include a Bus Depot and Police Circle Office at Kosgi Mandal Headquarters. The TRS leader also sought a Fire Service station in Kodangal Assembly constituency, government Junior Colleges in Daulatabad and Bomraspet Mandal headquarters.

The Chief Minister, who received a memorandum from Gurunath Reddy had asked the officials to provide sanction for the demands. With this, the much-awaited bus depot in Kosgi town will be fructified while Kodangal will get a fire station, Daultabad and Bomraspet with junior colleges in the near future.

Home Minister Nayani Narsimha Reddy, Transport Minister Dr P Mahender Reddy, Panchayat Raj Minister Jupalli Krishna Rao and MLC Narender Reddy were present. The delegation comprises local leaders — Prathap Reddy, Hanumanth Reddy, Rajeshwar and others. (NSS)
