Mohammed Ali Shabbir, LOP in TSLC today hoped that the goal set forth in the bifurcation of the state to achieve Bangaru Telangana would at least receive fillip and promotion in 2018.
Extending warm greetings to people of Telangana on the eve of the New Year 2018, the LOP reiterated the commitment of the Congress party to continue its fight relentlessly against the corruption, nepotism, and incompetence of the TRS govt and KCR and struggle on behalf of the people of Telangana.
He wished to issue charge sheet on KCR government on 43 major issues of empty promises and Govt’s failure to deliver benefits to poor people.’ He also said that a letter is being sent to CM KCR to reply on 43 charges and it is a shame that Government has money to spend on events like GES and WTC but not for Asara pensions to aged, widows, handicapped and single women, which were pending for last three months’ he said adding that Congress party demanded release of pensions to all beneficiaries immediately.
He said according to the National Council of Applied Economic Research (NCAER) in its survey report of 2017 has given 12th rank to Telangana in corruption. The TRS government is also made a laughing stock in courts of law for a number of wrong and lopsided notifications issued for requirement by the incompetent authorities and facing courts interventions to stop the issues.
He questioned that if the state govt’s claim of being No-1 in maintaining Law and Order is right, then why it refused to conduct the prestigious conference of Indian Science Congress slated at Osmania University which has now been shifted to Manipur, why KCR silent over VC’s letter?
LOP said the TRS government has cheated even the poor Dalit farmers after announcing to distribute 1.5 lakh acres, so far it has given 8000 acres. Same is a case of Double Bed Room Houses, 12% Muslim reservation, 10% reservations to STs etc, KG to PG education, Separate High court, snail speed of irrigation projects, Mission Kakatiya and Bhagiratha, Bayyaram steel plant, Jobs to youth, Pavala vaddi loans to poor farmers and tuition fee reimbursements etc
Shabbir said CID reports on 15-22 scams including Ayyapa Society, Bodhan fake chalans, Miyapur land scam, EAMCET, drugs racket, leakage is catching dust in cold shelves of Secretariat without follow up action.’ Most of the probes have been halted midway the reasons are unknown’ he charged.
The LOP said that it was pity that KCR was scared to even come out of his home and is conducting all govt work from within his camp office and conducting routine reviews at the Darbar Hall of Pragati Bhavan on the lines Monarch’s and kings.
KCR has lost touch with the problems of people and as he is not going out to meet people and whenever he comes out of Camp Office, he only goes to his farmhouse in Gajwel.
The veteran Congress leader said it was high time that KCR took interest in peoples problems, ensure the release of funds for welfare schemes like Asara pensions, farmers subsidies, fee reimbursement, funds for women empowerment and finally fulfill the promises made to welfare of SC,ST,BC and Minorities, without fail.
He said if the TRS and CM KCR deceived Poor Dalit farmers, SHG women, Tribal, unemployed youth, and minorities, they would all teach him a fitting lesson in the 2019 elections
