Key Leader Vishweshwar reddy quits TRS, KCR shocked

Hyderabad: In a surprise move, TRS MP Konda Vishweshwar Reddy today reportedly resigned from his party post and sent a letter to TRS supremo and caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao to that effect.

It was being said Vishweshwar Reddy would switch loyalties to Congress in the presence of Sonia Gandhi likely on November 23 when she will make a tour in Telangana for poll campaigning. His resignation gets significance as Revanth Reddy recently said two of the TRS MPs will be joining the Congress. Though minister KT Ramarao persuaded him against his resignation and would talk to party supremo KCR to settle the issue, Reddy did not budge, it is said.

Vishweshwar Reddy is said to be unhappy with the party affairs and could not develop his segment. Reddy in the letter cited reasons that the party leadership ignored the issues like denying priority to the true leaders and activists, gave cabinet posts to anti-Telangana leaders and away from people for two years and others.
