Senior TRS leader Soofi Sultan Quadri Shuttari said TRS government is sincere about providing 12% reservations to Muslims in education and employment. He further said Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and IT minister K T Rama Rao have repeatedly made assurances in this regard.
Sultan Quadri who is also state general secretary TRS and is busy in election campaign for the party in Malakpet and other divisions, for GHMC elections, claimed that TRS enjoyed good support from Muslim minorities. He further claimed that development of old city and welfare and prosperity of Muslim minority was possible only through TRS and declared opposition parties’ claims as baseless.
