KCR to take holy dip at 5.58 am on Aug 12– Krishna Pushkaralu

It is official. The vedic pundits set the auspicious time for launching holy Krishna Pushkarlu at 5.58 am to 6.30 am on Aug 12. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao along with his spouse Shobha will take a holy dip at Gondimalla pushkar ghat near Alampur of Mahabubnagar district at 5.58 am sharp to mark the beginning. From there they will proceed to Jogulamba temple to offer prayers and return to Hyderabad.

 

He will leave for Palamur on Aug 11 and stay put in for night and will formally begin the holy pushkarlu on the auspicious occasion. Launching the official pushkaralu.telangana.gov.in at Secretariat here on Wednesday, Endowment Minister, A Indrakaran Reddy said that KCR will be leaving for Palamur on Thursday and stay at Haritha Guest House  and will launch the holy festivities on Friday.

 

The website has information of noted pilgrim and tourism places, facilities and arrangements for the pious festivities, he said. The devotees can see online the rush at the bathing ghats and rush to other ghats to take a holy dip,  he maintained. The government is launching the 12 days long Krishaveni Pushkaralu in Mahabubnagar and Naolgonda districts and made elaborate arrangements. Special swimmers are pressed to bathing ghats wherein the devotees should be cautious and avoid going into deep waters.

The Government has invited noted seers to  launch the pushkaralu by performing pujas including Tridandi Chinna Jeeyar Swamy, Devatham Jeeyar, Vrathadhara swamy of Jagannatha Swamy Math, Kamalananda Bharathi and Bardipur Maharaj.
