KCR who cheated Muslims for 12% reservation has no right to ask for their votes: Uttam

Hyderabad: President of Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee, Capt. Uttam Kumar Reddy told that KCR has no right to ask the Muslims for votes since he cheated them by promising 12% reservation which he did not implement when he assumed power.

He also said that a secret deal has been struck between BJP and TRS. KCR and Asaduddin Owaisi are indirectly extending benefits to PM Modi.

Capt. Reddy was speaking on the occasion of Iftaar party hosted by Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee at Red Rose Palace Function Hall, Nampally on 12th June.

Present on this occasion were former Union Minister, Mr. S. Jaipal Reddy, Leader of Opposition in Telangana Legislative Council, Mr. Mohammed Ali Shabbir, Working President of Congress, Mallubatti Vikramarak, former Minister of Karnataka, CM Ibrahim, Mr. Amer Ali Khan, News Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily and others.

Hafiz Mohammed Rizwan Qureshi, Imam of Makkah Masjid led the Maghrib Prayer. Capt. Reddy offered dates to Amer Ali Khan and Mr. Shabbir.

Capt. Reddy further told that KCR supported NDA candidates for the posts of President and Vice President. He also supported demonetization and GST which is part of the secret pact. Voting TRS and MIM is synonymous to voting BJP. CM of TS and President of MIM are indirectly supporting Modi. Congress is a secular party. During the tenure of Congress, Minorities were safe. Congress had nominated Dr. Zakir Husain and Mr. Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed as Presidents.

Congress can alone protect the rights of Minorities

Mr. Mohammed Ali Shabbir highlighted the significance of Ramadan month and reviewed the political situation of the State. He further told that President Kovind and PM Modi abandoned Iftaar parties this year for which we thank them.

Congress party has become an iron wall against communalism. In order to stop communalism, Mr. Rahul Gandhi offered the seat of CM to JD (S) leader eventhough Congress had 80 and JD (S) 38 seats.

Leader of Opposition in TS Assembly, Mr. K. Jana Reddy told that Hyderabad has been the citadel of Hindu-Muslim unity. He congratulated the Muslims for Eid-ul-Fitr in advance.

Mufti Sadiq Mohiuddin Faheem advised to maintain secular structure of India. Hafiz Mohammed Rizwan Qureshi offered prayer. Mohammed Khaja Fakruddin, President of Minorities Dept. of Congress conducted the meeting. President of Greater Hyderabad Congress Minorities Dept., Mr. Shaik Abdullah Sohail and Azmatullah Husaini welcomed the guests.
