KCR’s Federal Front slogan a big joke, say Congress leaders

Lashing out at Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao for talking about Federal Front, expelled Congress MLA Komatireddy Venkat Reddy has described it as a joke of the year. He further alleged that West Bengal Chief Minister Mamatha Benerjee snubbed KCR for coming to Kolkata to discuss about Third Front with her. Speaking to the media at CLP leader K Jana Reddy’s residency here on Tuesday, Komatireddy, along with others, alleged that Mamatha Benergee asked KCR how he could talk about Third Front while extending support to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government.
Finding fault with KCR for allocating Rajya Sabha seat to Santhosh, Komatireddy alleged that Santosh never raised ‘Jai Telangana’ slogan. It would have been good if Rajya Sabha ticket was given to the kin of Telangana martyrs, he opined. Another expelled MLA SA Sampath Kumar, Leader of the Opposition in the Council Shabbir Ali, TPCC president N Uttam Kumar Reddy, Kodangal MLA Revanth Reddy, former Speakers KR Suresh Reddy and Nadendla Manohar and High Court advocate Jandhyala Ravi Shankar attended the meeting and discussed on the issue of Rajya Sabha elections and expelled MLAs’ issue.
