KCR’s name will be written in History for not fulfilling promises: Modi

Hyderabad: Launching a scathing attack on the functioning TRS government in Telangana, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the ruling party in Telangana state is dreaming that without making any development, it can win the assembly elections.

The prime minister was addressing an election meeting here in support of BJP candidates. Now time has come to question the TRS chief about his four and half year old rule, he said adding that with the advancement of elections announced by TRS, the people of the state got an opportunity to elect a government which can work for development the state.

New Telangana state was created after many sacrifices and for development and progress, the prime minister said adding that it was a land of warriors as people had fought against Razakars in the erstwhile Nizam rule for freedom of the Hyderabad State. He congratulated youth of Nizamabad district as two girijans hailing from the district have created a history by hoisting flag on Everest.

Taking a dig at KCR, Modi said now time has changed and people will ask about failures of promises made to them by KCR. He said KCR had claimed that his government would develop Nizamabad as London city. But people are even now fighting for drinking water in the city and drainage system was totally collapsed, he said.

The name of KCR would be written in the history for not fulfilling his promises made to people before coming to power. The government should function for welfare of the people. He asked people whether they wanted to make KCR again CM of the state, while he failed to provide water to every house. Ruling party leaders had said that they will not ask for votes if water was not provided to each house. How can KCR now ask people to vote in support of TRS, Modi asked.

KCR believes in astrologers as he feels insecure and he never bothered about providing health services to people, he said adding that the centre has introduced a health welfare scheme for poor people “ Ayusman Bharat” . But KCR has not given green signal to implement this scheme in the state. Over three lakh people got benefited from this schemes during last two month, the prime minister said.

Stating that welfare of youth, farmers, down trodden is the main aim of BJP, Modi said “ Sab ka Sath-Sab ka Vikas” is mantra of our government. KCR was a central minister in UPA government which was run by a remote control. Do not believe that KCR is anti-Congress. Both the parties are misleading people.

Referring to Congress election meeting of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, Modi said it was ridiculous that they both spoken on family rule. Congress and TRS both are family dominated parties and there is no internal democracy in both parties. Congress and TRS are the two sides of the same coin.

Congress and TRS are vying with each other in spreading false information and KCR has adopted same tactics as he learnt from Congress party, Modi quipped.
