AICC leader in-charge of Telangana Congress affairs RC Kuntia today Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao brought the Third Front issue on to the screen only to weaken the Opposition parties. The youth, farmers and students were unhappy over TRS party.

Speaking at the TPCC SC Cell plenary here on Friday, Kuntia said the SC Cell will organize meetings in all the 31 districts under the aegis of SC, ST departments of the party. The party was striving to develop leadership among the SC, ST community people and as part of it, has taken Bus Yatras in all the 119 Assembly constituencies in the State. He said his party was giving priority to the youth, Dalits and BCs at the behest of AICC chief Rahul Gandhi. The people were honoring the party from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, he claimed.

AICC SC Cell chairman Koppula Raju said Rahul Gandhi wants that the Dalits, tribals and BCs should get adequate place through power rather Congress coming to power. The party leadership would infuse confidence in the voters on Congress and then only the party comes to power. He also said the party would field one lakh Dalits during elections.

TPCC working president Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka has alleged that KCR deceived Dalits in failing to install a Dalit as first Chief Minister of Telangana State. (NSS)
