Kerala: Hijab clad girls stun everyone with dance in the middle of road

MALAPPURAM: A video of three hijab-clad young girls doing flash mob in the middle of the road is going viral on social media platforms.

Wearing burqas and jeans and their heads covered in veils, the three girls on the tunes of Entammede Jimikki Kammal at Kottakkunnu junction in Malappuram town.

According to media reports, a group of girls were dental college students and participated in a flash mob organised as part of the AIDS day awareness programme by district health department making public aware of the disease.

The videos and photos of the girls are being widely circulated in Facebook and Whatsapp, accompanying the abusive comments targeting them for their public dance performance.

One of the first posts read a caption along with the video: “This was what happened in Malappuram today. Fortunately there was no tsunami… End of the world comes closer.”

Another said: “Guess there’s not enough space in these girls’ home to tie them down, and hence they have been left free!”
