Khashoggi’s killing may land Saudi Crown Prince into trouble

Though Saudi Arabia is denying the killing of Jamal Khashoggi, if he were to be the thorn in anyone’s eye, it was none other than crown prince Mohammed bin Salman. Even if the killing of Khashoggi has relieved crown prince the malicious incident could become the bone in his neck.

So far Recep Tayyip Erdogan has been showing patience but one who knows Erdogan and the current government of Turkey well, they know that one will never be spared after they challenged the high command and sovereignty of turkey.

After the killing of Khashoggi, Erdogan’s party Justice and Development, has categorically said that if anyone thinks Turkey as that of 1990’s, he is wrong.

If Khashoggi has been killed, Crown Prince has tried to give the message to his opponents that they will be killed, be they in the shade of, any constitution, law or rule. This act is surely provocative and childish and it can put Saudi government into trouble.

Khashoggi, a Washington Post contributor, in his opinion articles, has been critical of some policies of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Riyadh’s intervention in the war in Yemen. He has been living in self-imposed exile in the United States since last year to avoid possible arrest.
