Hyderabad: AICC spokeswoman and actor-turned-politician Khushboo here on Tuesday launched scathing attack on TRS president and caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao. She described KCR as Commission Man.
Addressing mediapersons at Gandhi Bhavan here today, Kushboo said the Telangana State had ranked no.2 in corruption and number.3 in unemployment. She also said KCR did not give respect to Opposition leaders in the State. Promising golden Telangana after coming to power in the State, Kushboo said “Hand”, the symbol of Congress party, was the symbol of assurance to the people of the State.
Noting that the Congress would fulfill all desires and solve all their problems after coming to power in the State, she said they will waive Rs one lakh loans of self-help groups and provide Rs 5 lakh for Indiramma houses beneficiaries. “We will also supply nine essential commodities through fair price shops,” she said. She expressed her surprise over KCR not having a car in his name. She also said KCR was the only Chief Minister in the country, who ruled the State by sitting in his farm house and without visiting his office at secretariat.
Khushboo also alleged that the ruling TRS and the Opposition BJP were hand in glove and were in love with each other. She demanded that CM KCR respond on the encounter of innocent student Shruthi in the State. She said while the Congress gave tickets to 11 women, the ruling party gave tickets to only three women. She also alleged that a scam involving Rs.200 crore took place in the State in the distribution of Bathukamma saris.
