NEW DELHI: While hearing the case of couple’s divorce, Imran Khan was told by the judge that he was entitled to half of Jemima’s property which was 12000 Cr pound. But Imran said he didn’t need it. Impressed by him, the judge asked Jemima why she doesn’t want to live with such a great personality. Jemima said she would love to if Imran Khan lived with her in London. She didn’t want to live in Pakistan as political leaders there were implicating her in false cases.
When Imran Khan was asked by the judge why he didn’t want to go to London to live with Jemima whom he considered a great woman and a great mother, he had said, he wanted to do something for his beloved Pakistan, because there’s a lot of poverty, illiteracy, injustice.
When the judge asks Imran about the child’s custody, Imran replied that Jemima is the best woman and a mother and wants the kids to be with her.
Listening to this, Jemima embraced Imran. Deeply impressed by Imran Khan’s reply judge stood as a mark of respect for Imran Khan.
Jemima and Imran had tears in their eyes when the judge announced divorce.
