Kodandaram to quit TJAC post

Hyderabad: Prof M Kodandaram is likely to submit his resignation from the chairmanship of Telangana Joint Action Committee to assume the responsibility of newly formed political party Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS).

Kodandaram announced his decision after visiting martyrs memorial at Gun Park in front of the Assembly building today. TJS formation day would be organized on Sunday at Saroornagar stadium where Kodandram would likely to take responsibility of the president of the new party. In the meeting, he will announce future course of action of the TJS, sources said. TJAC was formed during Telangana movement, which represented various political parties. TJAC was led by Kodandaram which played a major role during separate state for Telangana movement. (NSS)
