The Nalgonda MLA Komatireddy Venkat Reddy has predicted that the bye-election would be held to Lok Sabha constituency. The funds to flood for the development of Nalgonda constituency in case bye election was must, he opined and said that he was welcoming the bye-election.
Speaking to the media here on Thursday, Komatireddy said that the state government appointed Group-I officers to each ward to review the developmental works of Nalgonda municipality. Making it clear that he was ready to contest the election if sitting MP Gutha Sukhender Reddy contests again, Komatireddy exuded confidence that they will strive to ensure the victory of Congress candidate who ever it may be. “I am ready to contest the bye-election if AICC Chief Sonia Gandhi directs him in this regard”, he announced. He explained that he postponed the deeksha proposed by him to stage it demanding the state government to establish Medical College in the district. He revealed that he will wage movement for the sake of AIMS and Medical College in the district. (NSS)
