Nalgonda MLA Komatireddy Venkat Reddy has wished the party high command to give party positions to the leaders who crossed 65-years otherwise they will lose the elections if given tickets to them. The party has to give tickets to the youth as they will participate in party programs with great enthusiasm. He asked the party high command to allocate 10 MLA seats to the youth.
Addressing the meeting organized by the Telangana Youth Congress in the name of Bharat Bachao Andolan protesting against the anti-people policies of the Congress party here on Monday at Gandhi Bhavan, Komatireddy said that it was time to the Telangana people to clear the debt of UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi, who was accorded Telangana state, by making the Congress party win the elections in 2019. He alleged that Komatireddy Venkat Reddy broke the back of middle class people by bringing GST. He claimed that Chief Minister K Chandrasehlar Rao deceived the youth by assuring that he will give one lakh jobs.
Finding fault with IT Minister KT Ramarao for terming Sonia Gandhi as ‘Amma…Bomma’, Venkat Reddy said that KTR speaking with arrogance. He asked Congress activists to be brave and prepare a list of officials and TRS leaders framing illegal cases against the Congress party leaders. He said that the coming government would be Congress government and it will settle all issues after coming to power. “Leaders like me are in that assignment only”, he said. “There is no place to women in KCR Cabinet. I never saw such government. The Congress party would give top priority to the women”, he said.
Later, the police was arrested Komatireddy and several others when they tried to proceed towards Pragathi Bhavan. Speaking on the occasion, Komatireddy said that arrests of Congress activists were atrocious and said that the Congress party was condemning the arrests severely. The people would teach a fitting lesson to the TRS government, he warned. (NSS)
