KTR distributes sheep units, slams Uttam’s blame game

Hyderabad: Minister KT Rama Rao today slammed the Congress leaders for its twitter comments against the government. Launching the second phase of sheep distribution along with Animal Husbandry Minister T Srinivas Yadav at Siricilla district, KTR said the scheme was to help uplift Yadava community.

Speaking on the occasion, KTR accused the Congress of indulging in a blame game only for political gain. Referring to TPCC Chief N Utham Kumar Reddy’s rant against Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, the minister slammed the former for making rash political remarks. “KCR is only gutsy leader, who has been completing the projects in just two to three years while the previous governments failed to complete them even for 50 years.

All other States are appreciating the TRS government for completing Kaleshwaram project on a war-footing. KCR has set an example by launching insurance scheme for farmers, who already got Rythu Bandhu cheques of Rs 4000 per acre in addition to getting 24 hour free power supply for farm activity”, he said, adding that KCR gave Rs 5000 crore for sheep program and will give more for buffalos distribution to the beneficiaries.

The TRS Government will continue the flagship programs and welfare schemes for poor. Soon buffaloes will be supplied to the people relying on milk production and sell in the State which will be another milestone in the near future, he said. The government was keen on launching food processing units and focus on MSP to farm produce through the State Farmer Coordination Committee. (NSS)
