KTR flays Kodandaram, Congress on job fight

IT & Municipal Administration Minister KT Rama Rao today slammed TJAC Chairman Prof Kodandaram for his “fight for jobs” protest at Saroornagar.

He took serious objection to the protest being supported by other Opposition parties like Congress and the BJP. The Minister ridiculed that the jobs fight was being conducted for gaining politically by those who have no other go. “It is totally wrong to conduct jobs fight which was aimed to provoke the students and youth. Those who seek political jobs are conducting such protests”, he said. He appealed to the students and youth to be wary of such programs that will only misguide them. The Government is for keeping the promise of filling all vacant posts and any stirs by some or others will only add to the woes of the students, he said.

The IT minister reprimanded that some vested interests were trying to take advantage despite the government was filling posts in several departments. The minister alleged that Kodandaram at the instance of the Congress was trying to malign the image of the government on the jobs. The Government will fill all the 1.12 lakh posts and the process to fill them in several departments was on, he said. KTR sought to know whether the jobs fight was to garner support of the youth, students and the Opposition parties. KTR accused the Congress of orchestrating the TJAC for political mileage. TSPSC was conducting job drives and issuing notifications, he pointed out.
