KTR lashes out at Rahul & Naidu, Asserts TRS will sweep polls

Hyderabad: Caretaker Minister KT Rama Rao today lashed out at the Opposition parties for “hatching conspiracies” against the ruling TRS and obstructing the progress in the State. “The TRS will sweep polls and retain the government despite AICC Chief Rahul Gandhi gives seats, TD Chief and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu distributes currency notes to voters on the eve of Assembly polls on December 7”, he averred.

“The people should teach a fitting lesson to the unholy alliance of the Opposition parties for sabotaging development of the infant Telangana State”, he exhorted.

Addressing a mammoth public meeting at Sathupalli in Khammam district after attending nomination filing by TRS candidate Pidamarti Ravi and caretaker minister Tummala Nageshwar Rao, KTR wooed the people to vote for the ruling party for the sake of more development in future. The people should give fresh mandate to Ravi and decide whether they want progress by voting the KCR leadership for more development or the Congress-led Mahakutami for crises in all sectors and non- development. “The corrupt Congress leaders befriended TDP, TJS and CPI only to stall growth”, he fumed. He also took a dig at Chandrababu Naidu for writing as many as 30 letters to the Centre against Sitarama project.

The TRS has been offering 24-hour power to the farm sector and will bring the Godavari waters to the segment by completing Sitarama project, the minister said. “We are reiterating that on December 11, the ruling party will get people’s mandate and increase crop investment to Rs 10,000 from Rs 8,000 per acre a year in the state to help the farmers.
