KTR launches My GHMC App; Says city roads need surgery

MAUD and IT Minister KT Rama Rao today launched “My GHMC App” that prevents corruption and prevents people from roaming  around offices for their works, paves way for downloading various certificates besides getting improved online services with transparency. KTR expressed displeasure at the city roads that need a surgery. The government, he said, will address all such problems in a phased manner.

Addressing the media along with GHMC Mayor B Rammohan, Deputy Mayor Baba Fasiyuddin, Commissioner B Janardhan Reddy, the Minister said everyone from Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to common man are unhappy at the sight of city roads. The My GHMC App is useful for the people to complain on road related problems like pits, patholes and others.

            Stating that the My GHMC App is being implemented through iPhone version, KTR asked the Mayor Rammoahn and the Commissioner to monitor on the complaints personally. The government aims to offer better services to the people of the twin cities and the new App will get better patronage than M Vallet of the RTC, he hoped. The use of latest technologies will offer better results only when the officials also work efficiently with speed, he said. The App provides certificates such as property tax, business license, LRS, grievance, birth and death certificates and other services. It also helps download the extended services and make complaints online on the civic amenities and problems pertaining to roads and others in the twin cities, he added. (NSS)
