KTR’s 100 Day action plan flopped, Dream Merchant needs 7 years to complete

Hyderabad: Municipal Administration Minister, Mr. KT Rama Rao made an attempt to sell dreams on the development of Hyderabad City by circulating a 15 page brochure in Assembly yesterday which was nothing but lofty promises and day dreams. Mr. KTR announced developmental schemes for Hyderabad amounting to Rs. 24474 cr. but it was not mentioned how this amount would be pooled in the wake of the present financial crisis. He also briefed about various developmental plans amounting to crores of rupees for which it was stated that the amounts would be obtained from Central Govt.

It may be mentioned that ever since Mr. KTR took over the portfolio of Municipal Administration, he has been making lofty promises and showing dreams to the people of Hyderabad. A cursory glance at the 15 page brochure would reveal that this city is not Hyderabad but an international level city like Istanbul.

The interesting thing is that KCR did not make a mention of his 100 day action plan under which he wanted to beautify the city of Hyderabad since it was a flop. He also did not mention the pedestrian corridor at Charminar. There was no mention of the projects pertaining to the old city of Hyderabad. It is very regrettable that the MLAs representing Hyderabad City kept quiet. Is not the city of Hyderabad and Muslim concentration areas of the city not part of Greater Hyderabad where developments like other areas are needed?

In fact, TRS Govt. has no interest to maintain cleanliness in old city. It is also not interested in widening the road and supply of water and electricity.
