Kuntia, Uttam joined hands with TRS for defeat of Congress candidates: Sarve

Hyderabad: Former Union minister Sarve Satyanarayana, who has been suspended from the party for making derogatory remarks against senior party colleagues, today alleged that TPCC Chief N. Uttam Kumar Reddy had joined hands with the TRS to ensure the defeat of Congress in the recent Assembly elections. He demanded that both AICC State in-charge RC Kuntia and the TPCC Chief should resign from their posts by owning moral responsibility for the defeat of the party.

Addressing the media here today, Sarve alleged that allotment of tickets to the party candidates was delayed as Uttam Kumar Reddy was hand in glove with the ruling party. He also alleged that his own party leaders defeated him in the elections. He also alleged that his party leaders tried to ensure defeat of TPCC Working president and Madira MLA Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka in the elections.

Noting that the party high command sent money for election campaigning of party candidates, Sarve alleged that the State leaders sold off the MLA tickets in the elections. He made it clear that he would hold protest programs till RC Kuntia and Uttam resigned form their posts. Noting that the people of the State wanted to defeat KCR in the State, he alleged that both Kuntia and Uttam destroyed the party in the State.
