Land dispute: man kills brother, sets the body on fire

Tandoor: Dispute between two brothers on 20-acre land led to the killing of a man in Tandoor. According to sources, two brothers Narender Reddy and Rajeshwar Reddy had a dispute over 20-acre land in Kodangal, Viqarabad. Younger brother Rajeshwar Reddy planned to kill his elder brother Narender Reddy. He sought the help of his friend Lakshman.

Lakshman purchased a revolver from Jaipur Rajasthan at Rs. 45000 and invited the elder brother to come to Tandoor to solve property dispute. Both the brothers and Lakshman sat at a place to discuss the issue. Meanwhile, arguments began. Lakshman and Rajeshwar attacked Narender with a knife while the younger brother killed him with a revolver. Both the accused threw the body into a pit in Karnataka and set the body on fire by dousing petrol over it.

On May 11, the deceased wife lodged a missing complaint with the police. By looking at the call logs on Narender’s mobile, police suspected Lakshman and Rajeshwar Reddy and arrested them. They admitted killing.
