Karimnagar: Stating that Armed Struggle occurred in Telangana for land, TPCC working president Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka has alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was misleading the people on land records.
Speaking at a public meeting here on Monday as part of Congress party’s “Rythu Samrakshana Yatra”, Bhatti said the Congress had participated in all land movements. He reminded that the Congress held discussions with Maoist party on solving land problems. AICC SC Cell convener Koppula Raju asked the party activists to visit villages and pull up the government on distribution of three acre land to Dalits. He also asked the cadre to receive applications from eligible Dalit families for distribution of three acre land to them. He also asked them to take details on revenue problems by visiting every house besides collecting details of eligible candidates for double bed room houses. (NSS)
