Laxman slams TRS leaders’ loose comments

Dr. K. Laxman, M.L.A., BJP State President, condemned the statements of TRS leaders that BJP has embarked on Telangana Vimochana Yatra only to create rift between people. He also criticized that these types of statements show the mental condition of the TRS leaders. He questioned whether KCR had not demanded celebration of 17th September officially at the time of elections.

Talking in public meeting at Bhairanpalli and in the press meet at Siddipet, Dr. Laxman demanded to make their stand clear whether the TRS ministers and MLAs are taking the side of Majlis, or the Nizam’s hereditory rule or are they with the people of Telangana. He said that Narendra Modi’s BJP government has helped Telangana to the tune of Rs.1.50 lakh crores and is ready to extend any further help to the state.

Dr. Laxman said that Telangana Liberation and Independence yatra is patriotic and nationalist yatra, and he said it is ridiculous that the TRS leaders were talking as if hoisting national flag is a blunder. Dr. Laxman faulted PCC President Uttam Kumar Reddy’s criticism of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and questioned what the three Congress ministers did for Telangana during their rule. He criticised that the Congress states are deeply involved in corruption and nepotism and are after jail and bail.  He demanded whether the Congress is ready for a debate on as to what Congress did and what BJP was doing for Telangana. (NSS)
