CHRISTCHURCH: New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern continues to win hearts as She paid for a mother’s groceries after a supermarket mishap.
The unnamed Auckland mother-of-two was about to buy her groceries when the woman realise she had forgot her purse at home.
Ardern was behind her in the queue and stepped in to pay for woman’s purchases herself.

The unnamed mom posted a thankful message on a Facebook. She wrote: ‘Just when you think Jacinda Ardern couldn’t get any more lovely, low key and authentic… she goes and pays for your groceries at the supermarket, because you’ve got your shopping, have two kids with you and are about to put it all back as you forgot your wallet.’
The woman told the New Zealand Herald that Ardern is ‘a leader unlike any other’.
When asked at press conference on Thursday why the PM offered to pay the other person’s bill, Ardern replied: “Because she was a mother”.
Ardern was praised across the globe for her compassionate actions following the Christchurch mosques attack on March 15 last month that 50 people and injured dozens more.
