Leave the party “if not like it”: BJP to Shatrughan

NEW DLEHI: Bharatiya Janata Party leader Shatrughan Sinha was on Tuesday advised to leave the party “if he does not like it.”

The advice came from Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and senior BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi during a TV debate on Tuesday night who said the actor-turned-politician had “fallen into the bad company” of BJP veteran leader Yashwant Sinha.

“Shatrughan Sinha is using all sorts of language against the party which made him the Cabinet minister, a Rajya Sabha member for two terms and let him represent the BJP in the Lok Sabha for two years,” Sushil Kumar Modi said. “With the kind of insults he has been using against the BJP, he should consider quitting,” reported Hindustan Times.

Sinha, MP from Patna Sahib has been vocal critic of his party including PM Modi over demonetisation, the Goods and Services Tax, ising fuel prices, and the “environment of intolerance”.
