Lift ban on Dharna Chowk at Indira Park: Chada

Demanding the state government to lift the ban imposed on Dharna Chowk at Indira Park, respecting the Supreme Court verdict given over Jantar Mantar, CPI state secretary and Indira Park Dharna Chowk Parirakshana Committee convener Chada Venkat Reddy said that Committee was organizing a meeting at Somajiguda Press Club on August 11 at 2PM to discuss on the future course of action plan to achieve Dharna Chowk. He alleged that the Chief Minister didn’t give appointment though the 48 Left Parties sought appointment by sending letter to him to discuss the issue and submit a memorandum. “It is sheer autocracy. There is no self respect in Telangana though it was created for self respect”, he pointed out.

Chada said that Dharna Chowk Parirakshana Committee members Prof. M Kodandaram (TJS chief), Justice Chandra Kumar, DG Narasimha Rao, Varavara Rao, Prof. PL Vishweshwar Rao, Bhootham Veeranna, Janakiram, Thandra Kumar, Murahari, Goverdhan and others will participate in the meeting on Saturday. (NSS)
