TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh today made it clear that his party was ready to face elections in the State any time. However, the people of Andhra Pradesh don’t want early elections, he added.
Talking to mediapersons here on Wednesday, Lokesh said he would contest from any constituency in the State as desired by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. “I am ready to contest from any corner of the state. I will definitely take part in direct elections,” he said. “Andhra Pradesh people don’t want early elections. They want the TDP to rule the State for full five years” Lokesh said after participating in an MoU program with Flextronics.
Stating that Nandamuri Balakrishna has developed his Hindupur constituency and brought about monumental development in just four years, Lokesh exuded confidence that Balayya would win the next election by a record majority. (NSS)
