Lucknow: A woman has alleged of being raped by a man, here on Tuesday.
A first information report (FIR) regarding the same has been registered, by the victim’s friend, at the Thakurganj police station of the city.
Sharing details of the case, Vikas Chandra Tripathi, SP, Lucknow West, said, “We have received a complaint in which a woman has alleged that a friend of her was sexually assaulted while returning from her work. We have registered an FIR and medical of the victim is being conducted.”
He further added that police is investigating the case and based on facts, further action will be taken.
