Hyderabad: Govt. issued orders appointing Mr. MA Waheed, IFoS (Rtd) as Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Telangana State Minorities Finance Corporation. He succeeds Mr. B. Shafiullah, IFoS who was holding additional charge of this post.
Dr. Shailander Kumar Joshi, Chief Secretary issued GO Rt. No. 88 through which Mr. Waheed has been appointed.
It may be mentioned that the then Secretary, Dept. of Minorities Welfare, Mr. Syed Omer Jaleel had submitted this file with his recommendation to CM of TS. Due to the delay in Finance Dept., his appointment orders were issued late.
It may be noted that Mr. MA Waheed belongs to 1999 batch of IFoS. He had played a key role in unearthing the scam in Minorities Finance Corporation earlier. He retired in May 2013. He also functioned as Commissioner, Dept. of Minorities Welfare and member of TS Wakf Board.
He will take charge of his new assignment on Friday.
