Madhapur Police arrests man who allegedly cheated 15 girls

Hyderabad: In a matrimonial fraud, a 36-year-old man cheated a woman by stealing gold ornaments and taking loans on her name.

According to the report published in TOI, Madhapur arrested the accused, Akhilesh Gurjar (36). He met the victim on a matrimonial website, Bharat Matrimony.

As per the report, he introduced himself as an Army Officer. Later, they got married at Kukatpally Arya Samaj in the month of May 2018.

After marriage, he obtained signatures of his wife under the pretext of taking insurance policy for her. With the help of these signatures, he took loans of Rs. 12 lakh, 2 lakh from Bajaj Finance and Indiabulls respectively.

His fraud does not end here. He drew Rs. 4.91 lakh and 2.71 lakh from her Amex Credit Card and SBI Card respectively. He used Rs. 5.6 lakh, Rs. 10 lakh from her saving account and mutual Fund respectively.

Apart from this, he stole gold ornaments worth Rs. 60 lakh before leaving to his native state, Madhya Pradesh.

After investigation, police came to know that Akhilesh cheated the victim as he is a married man and has a son in MP.

It was also reported that he had cheated 15 girls from various states of the country.
