Madras student’s lynching: strict punishment for the guilty demanded

New Delhi: Deep anger prevails among the people over the lynching of an 8-year-old madrasa student under Begumpur police station limits in Delhi. Political and social personalities have demanded strict action by the government. They have also demanded security to Muslims. It must be noted that Mohammed Azeem S/O Mohammed Khaleel became the victim of mob lynching. Miscreants attacked him when he was playing in the school premises.

According to Rashtriya Sahara Secretary Muslim Majlis Amal Syed Tariq Bukhari said that central government is responsible for this which has created the atmosphere of hate in the country.

Noted Islamic scholar Maulana Syed Athar Husain Dehlvi expressed concern over the situation and said that this is not the only incident. Miscreants are targeting the madrasa students. Such incidents have occurred in the past as well. He recalled that it was tried to burn students alive in Madrasa Babul Uloom.

MIM (Delhi) convener Omer Farooq condemned the incident and said that our entire team is with the boy. He demanded for justice. If required we will take to streets against the administration, he said. Human right activist Owais Sultan Khan termed the incident as shameful and blot on the society.
