Mahmood Ali slams Naqvi for terming Muslim reservation as ‘lollilop’

Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali slammed Union Minister of State for Minority Affairs, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi for terming Muslim , commenting upon the proposal of TRS Govt. to provide 12% reservations for Muslims is like giving lollipop.
He said Naqvi’s comment as non-serious and said it hurt the backward classes including Muslims. Mahmood Ali said as a Muslim the union minister should avoid such remarks. He asked ‘whether Naqvi is not aware of the fact that Muslims are more backward than other sections?’ Several national and state committees have submitted report in this connection, mentioned.

Mr. Mahmood Ali said Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has made it clear that after any decision given by the centre, reservations will be implemented by moving to Supreme Court if the need arises.
