Major reshuffle: Omer Jaleel transferred, Dana Kishore new Secretary Minority Welfare

Hyderabad: In a major reshuffle, Telangana government has transferred 29 IAS officers. Many senior officers have been transferred to less important departments. Secretary for Minorities Welfare Syed Omer Jaleel has been appointed as new Collector and District Magistrate of Viqarabad, duly relieving M Raghunandan Rao from FAC. He completed his term of 4 years as Secretary for Minorities Welfare. While M Dana Kishore, Managing Director of Hyderabad Metro Water Sewerage and Sanitation Board (HMWS&SB) will hold full additional charge (FAC) to the post of Secretary for Minorities Welfare.

Other top officials transferred and posted include State Finance Secretary SS Sultania, Commissioner, Information and Public Relations and MA&UD Secretary Navin Mittal, Animal Husbandry Secretary Suresh Chanda, Revenue Secretary BR Meena and Resident Commission in Delhi Arvind Kumar.

Senior IAS officer and Special Chief Secretary for Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development and Fisheries Suresh Chanda has been appointed as member secretary of Telangana State Finance Commission.

Santi Kumari has been appointed as Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister and also Chief Executive Officer of Industry Chasing Cell. Arvind Kumar who is currently holding the post of Resident Commissioner of Telangana Bhavan in New Delhi, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary for Municipal Administration and Urban Development. He will also hold FAC of Principal Secretary and Commissioner of I&PR. Navin Mittal is posted as Commissioner of Collegiate Education and Technical Education.
