Make wife withdraw from fray, Kavitha tells Uttam

Hyderabad: Stating that settlers in Hyderabad will vote for the ruling party, Nizamabad MP Kavitha today exuded confidence that the TRS will win the mandate by getting more than 100 Assembly seats in the elections. “I would like to see if AICC Chief Rahul Gandhi and TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu share the same dais to address a public meeting as part of Mahakutami poll campaign, Kavitha said.

Despite TD Chief N Chandrababu Naidu giving Kukatpally ticket to Harikrishna’s daughter Suhasini, it will not have adverse impact on the winning chances of the ruling party. The settlers and others will vote for the ruling party for development and get their issues resolved, she said.
In an informal chat with mediapersons at Telangan Bhavan today, Kavitha slammed TPCC Chief N Utham Kumar Reddy for alleging that the TRS has imposed dynastic rule. She also criticised Utham for indulging in dynastic rule by getting one ticket to his wife. “The Congress was known for dynastic or family rule and not the TRS”, she roared and asked Uttam to prove his values by making his wife withdraw the ticket.

The Congress is caught in the mire of controversy as some leaders like Renuka Chowdhary, Ponnala Lakshmaih and others were fuming for denying tickets for Kamma, BC and other communities. She accused the congress of showing affection on the settlers in the name of elections and offered a ticket to Kusuma Kumar. Kavitha said that Telangana people will discard the TD a diminished party and reject the congress for spiking the progress. The TRS will win the majority of the seats in Mahabubnagar and Nalgonda districts and win Jagitial seat, she added.
