Makkah Masjid Blast Case: New details come to light, IPS Officer was transferred before verdict

Hyderabad: In the wake of criticisms and suspicions raised against the role of NIA in Makkah Masjid Bomb Blast Case, surprisingly new facts have come to limelight in which Ms. Pratibha Ambedkar, an IPS officer of UP Cadre who was working in NIA was called back 10 days before the pronouncement of the verdict.

Not only this, after returning to UP, she was relieved of Makkah Masjid Blast Case. It was an alleged attempt to weaken the case.

It is reported that the Administration Wing of NIA issued orders on 6th April repatriating her to UP. Although, five months were left for the completion of her four year tenure of deputation in NIA.

The transfer of this officer from NIA raises many questions. It is also reported that she had suggested that the call data record of the accused in Dargah Ajmer Shareef Case should be obtained but some of the officers stopped this move.
