Malegaon blast: Previous Govt framed me in false terror case, says Sadhvi Pragya

Aurangabad: Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur, an accused in the 2008 Malegaon blast case, has alleged the previous government hatched a conspiracy to lodge her in jail in the name of terror activity.

While addressing the public gathering at a function ‘Bhagwa rang tyagacha’ here, Thakur said, “It was the conspiracy of the disbelievers to coin the term ‘saffron terrorism’ and to malign the country’s name at the global stage.”

Addressing media, Sadhavi alleged that she was given tough treatment by the jail authority and now taking treatment at Benguluru.

Pragya repeatedly alleged that she was falsely framed for terror activities by the previous government.

“It was their conspiracy to put a woman behind bars and forcefully extract statements supporting their theory,” she claimed.

Talking about Lord Ram Temple at disputed site in Ayodhya, she said, “Ram temple will be built very soon at the same place where Lord Ram was born. I would personally go there and assist in the work of construction of Ram Temple in Ayodhya.”

Last year, the Bombay High Courtgranted bail to Sadhvi Pragya in connection with the Malegaon blast case.

In September 2008, a blast at Malegaon killed six and injured 101 others. (ANI)
