Man arrives at Court for divorce case, bludgeoned to death by in-laws

Hyderabad: A man who arrived at the court in connection with the divorce case filed from his wife was bludgeoned to death by his brother in-law and others. 32-year-old E Chandar a software engineer was attacked and killed in front of his parents by a four-member gang, allegedly including his brother-in-law, near the Malkajgiri Court under the Neredmet police station limits here on Friday. Police has arrested all the four suspects.

Chandar was the son of E Sridhar and Sandhya and a resident of Dilsukhnagar. He married Suhasini in 2010. However she filed a case in 2012 for divorce.

On Friday, when Chandar was about to return home in his car along with his parents after attending the hearing of the case the group attacked him. He was attacked with knives, stabbed on the face, abdomen and chest. He died on the spot.

The body was shifted to Gandhi Hospital morgue for autopsy. A case has been booked and further investigation is on.
