Hampi: In a shameful incident, a man was caught in an objectionable position with a Russian citizen in temple premises at Hampi. This incident took place on the first day of Hampi Utsav on Saturday.
According to the news published in New Indian Express, after finding them in compromising position in the premises of the Yantrodharaka Hanuman temple, locals assaulted the person.
It is also reported that the man claimed himself to be a local priest. He also claimed that the woman is his girlfriend.
They even tried to escape the spot but failed. In this attempt, they hit a local youth with a weapon.
Police took them into custody and investigating the case.
