On Friday, Rachakonda Cybercrime police arrested a person who duped three divorced women in the pretext of marrying and took money from them.
According to the Rachakonda police, the accused is identified as K.N Varma (30), a native of Rajasthan and resides at Bengaluru.
He created a profile on matrimony website seeking a divorced bride.
The accused posed as the owner of an interior designing company and got in touch with the women.
A victim from Hyderabad has given Verma Rs.90,000 after that he avoided her calls and messages.
He was booked under Sections 417, 419 and 420 of IPC and Section 66 (C&D) of IT Act, and produced before a court for judicial remand.
