After this video went viral on the internet, Royal Caribbean has banned him and his friends from sailing with them ever again, reports Fox News. He was not allowed to reboard the ship after jumping off and asked to find his own way back home.

The manager of Royal Caribbean’s corporate communications while speaking to the Fox News said, “This was stupid and reckless behaviour and he and his companions have been banned from ever sailing with us again.”

Many people called this Nikolay’s stunt “foolish” and “dumb”. One person in the comments section wrote “Stupid is what stupid does!”. “So reckless! You could have died!” another said.

Konstantin Kryachun, a friend who filmed the jump told the Fox News that
“He’s jumped from those kinds of heights before, and we didn’t really care about the consequences with the cruise company, we just wanted to get a video of it and make it go viral.”

Nikolay further added that “I am truly astonished at how this video has spread throughout the internet. I did not think this through before I jumped. My idea was this would be a good laugh for my friends and I would just swim back to shore and continue my vacation and never thought this would be this serious.”

Royal Caribbean is now considering to take legal action against the group.
