Man who killed Afrazul over alleged “Love Jihad” spreads hatred from jail, video triggers debate

Jodhpur: Shambhulal Raigar who is the accused in the brutal murder case of Muslim Labourer Mohammed Afrazul over alleged “Love Jihad” spreads hatred from jail.

According to the report published in NDTV, in a video, Shambhulal wearing a hoodie recorded a video using a cellphone inside the Jodhpur Central Jail. In the video, he asked Hindus to unite against “Jihadis”. He also alleged that his life is in danger.

He further said that he cannot tolerate threats to Hindu women. Talking about media reports after he had committed a heinous crime, Shambhulal said that he is sad as reports showed the illicit relationship between him and a girl.

However, the authenticity of the video cannot be verified.

Meanwhile, State Home Minister Mr. Gulab Chand Kataria has ordered an inquiry.

On the other hand, police filling FIR and jail official search the mobile phone. However, it is not found yet.

It may be mentioned that Mohammed Afrazul was brutally murdered and burned by accused Shambhulal Raigar in Rajsamand in Rajasthan. Raigar is in jail since December.

In a terrifying video which appeared on social media on 7th December, Afrazul, hailing from Malda district of West Bengal, was shown being hacked to death and then set ablaze by Shambhulal. The accused termed the cold-blooded murder an act of revenge against “Love Jihad”
