Man kills 2-month-old son suspecting wife of having extramarital affairs

New Delhi: In a shocking incident, a man killed his 2-month-old son. He took this step after suspecting wife of having extramarital affairs. This incident took place in Mangolpuri, Delhi

As per the details furnished by the police, the accused who is 17-year-old used to suspect his wife. He killed his son presuming that the baby was born due to his wife’s extramarital affair.

According to the report published in Time of India, Additional DCP, Mr. Rajender Singh Sagar told that police got the information about the incident after the wife of the accused took the baby to the Sanjay Gandhi Hospital.

It may be mentioned that doctors at the hospital informed the police after they found strangulation marks on the neck of the baby. After the baby was declared dead, his mother informed the police that her husband might have killed the infant.

Mr. Sagar told that a team led by Mr. Aalap Patel Mansukh, ACP apprehended the accused from Mangolpuri. Later, the accused confessed to the crime.

Nearly a year ago, the couple had married in a temple after girl’s parents opposed the relationship. Later, they accepted their marriage.

Police told that the wife of the accused used to work as a salesgirl at a cosmetic shop in Central Delhi. The accused who is a drug addict used to suspect his wife of having an affair with a colleague at the workplace.

On Saturday, when the baby started crying, the accused hit him with a shoe. After baby fell unconscious, the accused strangled him. After committing the crime, he kept the body of the baby on the bed and left the home. This incident occurred when the mother of the baby was not at home. She came to know about it when she returned home at around 4:30 p.m.
